Hello! My name is Felipe Salazar, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Community Advocate. In this role, I’ll be working alongside students and families from College Place High School, Walla Walla High School, and Prescott High School. My goal is to support families in bringing their voices to the table and empower students to pursue postsecondary opportunities with confidence.
I was raised in Walla Walla and am a proud first-generation college graduate from Whitman College (Class of 2017). For the past several years, I served as a 21st Century Site Coordinator at College Place Public Schools, where I had the privilege of wearing many hats: coordinating after-school and summer programs, producing school newscasts, and even DJing high school dances. These experiences allowed me to connect with students across a wide range of interests, strengthening my passion for education and my commitment to supporting all students.
