Walla Walla Valley Disability Network

Walla Walla Disability Network is a nonprofit that seeks to improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities and their families through community access and support.  United Way of Walla Walla County supports Walla Walla Valley Disability Network’s summer camps. These camps offer a rare opportunity for respite for parents, and interactive play and discovery for children and teens with disabilities.

On June 22 and June 29, 2016 United Way staff and board members were visited by campers attending the Walla Walla Valley Disability Network Summer Camp.  Elementary Campers, 2nd-6th graders, and Teen Campers, 7th-12th grade, visited with us in the board room of the Union Bulletin building.  We enjoyed hearing about their favorite activities while attending the camps and just being able to take the time to be reminded why we do the work we do!

United Way was the proud sponsor of these two camps this summer and we extend a heartfelt thank you to our donor, each of you made these activities possible!
